Pleasure To My Senses.

Clearing my eardrums
Cleansing my eyes.

Hi I'm A Gig Addict . I started as a teenager, drops and drops of music are instilled in my veins. It is the simplest form of art and poetry. To me, music is the most beautiful invention by mankind because I just simply can't imagine anyone's life without it.

I'm set for this month's exciting music events which I've been craving since the start of 2008. I may not have a wall full of athletic medals nor do I have a cabinet with a valedictorian trophy, but going for these events makes me feel complete, like I'm doing something good for myself/my senses. The experience of every gig is same yet different in a lot of ways, probably best described like an art with different compositions having the same colours on the canvas.

I can't live without having air to breathe, water to drink, earth to step on to and music to communicate my senses.

No electricity? No problem. Go Acoustic.

I've been collecting photos of the concerts I went to, but sadly I find it hard to recall those great experiences. I'm here to share those experiences which I still store in my memory and hope for the future events to be written in this blog.

Getting From Here To There.

|t r a v e l l i n g |

Fuel price hike : Ridiculous flight ticket prices (fair enough).
Longer flights : More Fuel
Shorter flights : Less Fuel.

But... Why are we paying the same amount if not more for shorter flights?
I jumped out of bed, straight to the computer just to scribble this down.
Don't get me wrong, I just wonder, not interrogating about this issue.

I paid for :
Return Flight Kuala Lumpur - London       (13 hours) : RM 3800.
Return Flight Kuala Lumpur - Melbourne (7 hours  ) : RM 3600

p/s:  I wouldn't mind paying RM 200 to go for the extra 7500 km.
The winner :  Malaysian Airlines System
The Loser   :  Me and will always be me. haaaaaaaa

|f u t u r e |

Have you ever sat down at one corner of your room, lighting a cigarette, letting your thoughts fly to Pluto : )    and BANG! back down again hitting the hard surface of Earth. Reality hits you hard doesn't it?

So yeah, I was thinking, here I am, starting yet another long semester of architecture at school. Not knowing what the f u t u r e holds for me, questioning whether this path which I chose will promise a bright future and hopefully success. Of course its safe to say that the route taken  is worth every step, but I believe that behind every successful person there was a breakthrough moment which made them twist/ bend their destiny which in the end turned into a successful career. There must be a highlight in their career which made them successful.

I fear the possibilities of not reaching what could be reached, the goals which I dream which in the end could not be scored.

Writing this, having fear, made me realize that it is actually something positive, because fear demands respect, and having respect in what I do and believe in drives me away from failing.

By the end of the day, everyone holds grip to the old saying, ''hard work does pay off'', in my case I hope, Big Time.

One should never be scared of failing, just have the right frame of mind and pick yourself up and keep it going. Life's too short, getting from here to there is never easy, just hold on tight and enjoy the ride.

p/s : I hate rollercoaster rides, but I'm all up for my life's rollercoaster.

My first post.

I have come to learn that I have been wasting too much time looking at my computer and not doing anything..really, so I have listed some things to do before school starts in 3 days, it's either :

1. Fix this damn computer
:Too lazy, probably if i can manage to do (3&2) than i'll get back to this one
2. Read a book
: Well, I love reading books under the palm tree by the beach where its warm and nice, but I really don't think I could do it yet...maybe when it gets warmer here in freezing Melbourne.
3. Start a blog.
Hmm x5, that seems like a good idea, as I have been thinking about it for days, months, not years though... but it seems long enough for me to start my own blog.

There are too many things that I would want to write down like the stupid things I've done to myself......and others :), the weird thoughts in my mind and the wonderful places I've travelled through Land, Ocean and the Atmosphere.

I also dream of being an inventor if not the guy who comes up with solutions.. I'll write down when I think its right, probably later in the future when I have thought through about the 'invention' I've discussed with my friends. Most of the time, I was laughed at, but to see them smile is a good and positive thing.

A P I T - G  (Classics from the series, The Clumsy Zul)

Here is a story of  Apit - G also known as C Clamp in English. Have you seen one of this things? I bet you have.

When I was 10, in a Kemahiran Hidup workshop I had a painful encounter with this steel thing! Story was, a friend irritated and annoyed me which led to a full speed chase around the workshop and BANG! I hit the clamp right in between. Oh yeaaaah
